Pokémon Ruby Version was released in North America on March 19, 2003 alongside Pokémon Sapphire Version. The games were the first paired core Pokémon titles developed for the Game Boy Advance and introduced players to the Hoenn region.

Ruby and Sapphire marked the beginning of Generation III, introducing 135 new Pokémon along with major gameplay additions including Abilities, Natures, Double Battles, and Pokémon Contests.

Pokémon Ruby prominently features the Legendary Pokémon Groudon on its North American packaging. The game’s storyline follows the player’s journey through Hoenn while confronting Team Magma and its plans involving Groudon.

The Game Boy Advance hardware allowed Ruby and Sapphire to introduce a substantially redesigned visual presentation compared with the earlier Game Boy and Game Boy Color Pokémon titles. Nintendo identifies Ruby and Sapphire as the first games in the series for the Game Boy Advance.

Pokémon Ruby also forms one half of the original Ruby and Sapphire pairing, with version-exclusive Pokémon and trading encouraging connectivity between the two releases. The games established the Hoenn generation that would later continue with Pokémon Emerald.

Professionally graded PSA 9.8 with an A++ seal grade, this factory-sealed example combines Groudon cover artwork, Generation III significance, Hoenn provenance, original sealed condition, and exceptional graded preservation.
